Penny Lee Trucking, Inc. brings collectively 63 years of Heavy Construction experience. In 1988 Penny Gutschmidt and Glenn Rengen started Penny Lee Trucking, Inc. and since has grown to a fleet of Heavy Hauling dump trucks with versatility to perform many aspects involved with the industry.
Penny started her career in the residential building industry, helping her father on the jobs and in the office. In 1983, she was accepted in the Operating Engineers Apprenticeship Training Program, and began a career of operating heavy equipment for David A. Mowat Co. After completing the program, she started the company, Penny Lee Trucking.
Glen was raised in a Construction family. Glenn and his father worked for Mowat Brothers. In 1973 Glenn became Superintendent for David A Mowat Co.
Glenn oversaw many large heavy highway projects, that enabled him to be an asset for David A. Mowat Co.
In 1986 Glenn and his brother started their own company, "R Excavating Inc." specializing in Heavy Highway, Earthmoving, Bridge Demolition and Construction. In 1998 Glenn renamed his company Pacific Road & Bridge.
Penny Lee Trucking, Inc. is DOT Certified DBE on federally assisted projects. Our involvement with numerous Federal and State projects has enabled us to become familiar with procedures and requirements.
With the experience and knowledge, our goal is to offer quality service, with good equipment and a solid base to work from. Since all of our experience came from a company of that nature, we feel it is important to follow those guidelines, and we feel we have.
